Materials Needed

  • Yarn: Super Chunky and Chunky weight yarns (we stock quality super chunky yarns in our yarn section)

  • Needles:

      • For Super Chunky Stockings: 1 pair of 9mm knitting needles (UK 00 / US 13) and 1 pair of 10mm knitting needles (UK 000 / US 15)

      • For Chunky Stocking: 1 pair of 5mm knitting needles (UK 6 / US 8) and 1 pair of 6mm knitting needles (UK 4 / US 10)


  • Accessories: Cable needle (for cabled styles), stitch holders, and a tapestry needle for sewing seams and adding hanging loops

Yarn Requirements

Based on standard 100g balls of Super Chunky and Chunky yarn:

  • Super Chunky Stockings (Styles 1, 2 & 3):

    • Main Shade (Red, Cream, or Green): 2 balls

    • Contrast Shade (for cuff, heel, or toe): 1 ball

  • Chunky Stocking (Style 4):
